  • This is a common question I get asked all the time. However, I boil it down to the following: For me, UX means putting the user first. Sometimes, that means providing not what they think they want, but rather what they actually need. Also: don’t make the user think when using a product.

  • Figma by default. However, I have experience using Sketch, Adobe XD and Zeplin for handoff. I have expertise with other Adobe products such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

  • For product design, UX or UI related projects: It depends very much on my role, the stage the product is and what needs to be done. However, a common process of mine is the following:

    • Research in general: from data sources, user feedback, what people think about the product.

    • Familiarizing with the brand/product. Understanding the brand guidelines, value proposition, business model, why people use it, and so on.

    • Benchmark and competitive analysis

    • Gather User stories, user flows and red routes.

    • Create wireframes

    • Information architecture

    • Define basic components, evaluate if we create a design system of if we use an existing one; or a hybrid.

    • Create UI for the product contemplating human factors and accesibility.

    • Prototype

    • AB Testing

    • Changes based on product and user feedback.

    • Handoff to developers

    • Branding

    • UX/UI

    • Art Direction

    • Web Design

    • Pitch decks, PPT or Keynote design.

    • Prints

    • Graphic Design for social media (content creation)

    • Editorial Design

    • Advanced Print design

    • ATL

    • BTL

    • Animation

    • Illustrations

    • 3D Design

    • Packaging Design

  • That’s because I have signed NDAs (Non-disclosure Agreements) and private confidential documents. That means I cannot showcase any work or talk about the know-hows from my clients before, during or after my work relationship with them.

    However, I can highly suggest you either check my LinkedIn recommendations or talk directly with the people I’ve worked with for professional or personal references. Please do send me an email at missfutch@gmail.com requesting references.

  • Yes I did! Thanks for asking! I’ve used stock photos within this website for the headers and for the Honduras project. They do belong to their respective owners. I frequently use photographs from Unsplash. Their license is the following:

    Unsplash photos are made to be used freely. Our license reflects that.

    • All photos can be downloaded and used for free

    • Commercial and non-commercial purposes

    • No permission needed (though attribution is appreciated!)
